7 OCT - Spent the morning doing 'the Wall' and Brandenburg Gate. Picked up the bike after lunch and can't say how great it'll be to have cruise control working. Being in Spandau, a suburb of Berlin, a trip to Mecca (the factory where BMW motorcycles are made) was a must. The three hour tour made it clear why I ride a Beemer. German attention to detail.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, we're off to Denmark, with an overnight in Handewitt, Germany on our way to Hjorring to visit Else Marie. Looks like a week of rain awaits us. Part of the Adventure.
