13SEP - Slept in this morning because the weather forecast said the rain would end by 08:00. As we had breskfast at our truckstop motel cafe the little gal in the photo entertained us.
Came out to load the bikes and there were trucks parked everywhete, some four deep. They sleep in the trucks but eat in the cafe. Quite a group of characters. All friendly and interested in the bikes and the foreigners.
We departed at 09:45. The rain had ended but it was replaced with fog and 40 degree temperstures. The weather cleared as we rode West and upon arriving in Omsk it was 60 degrees.
Hadn't gone more than fifty miles from the hotel and we came upon yet another truck crash. Usually only one truck so I suspect they fall asleep.
It was an easy 220 mile day and we arrived at our hotel at 15:00. Great weather predicted for the next week. Keeping our fingers crossed.
